The Department of Liberal Studies offers five courses: International Studies, Business Studies, Public Administration, Tourism, and ACE (Advanced Course of English). Students are encouraged to begin planning for their careers early in the curriculum and provided with internships to experience real work environments.
The Department of Liberal Studies aims to foster the following skills:
- academic and research skills to help students deepen their understanding of their chosen course
- work skills to help students make a smooth transition from school to work
- career guidance skills to help students plan and achieve their career goals
- social skills to help students to become independent, contributing members of society The overall aims of the curriculum are to develop students’ communication, planning, presentation, and stress control skills.
